The Resort Course allows the first-timer and uncertified divers an opportunity to experience the waters that Jacques Cousteau called 'The Aquarium of the World.' SCUBA Diving at this place is a must-see-to-believe experience. People are now traveling from around the world in order to see the abundant, underwater creatures that live in the cape region. A natural phenomenon that consists on Baja being the longest peninsula in the world combined with a body of warm water has enabled life to flourish beneath the surface and in an enormous variety of marine species. SCUBA Diving in Los Cabos is always a magical experience; there are so many types of different creatures that your eyes can?t believe what they are seeing! Snorkel in one of the world's richest marine ecosystems; sea lions, sting-rays, amberjacks, and all kinds of larger fish of all tropical types. First-timers are provided with a basic training at the Resort Course and they are being guided by Master Divers so you don?t have anything to worry about.

Description
The Manta Expedition is a brand new custom made dive vessel that was built to provide the option of remote dive expeditions. The boat is custom made with twin diesel engines and amenities like tank holders, bathroom, sun deck, dive deck and ample shade are available. It is the only dive boat in the region that can reach Cabo Pulmo sites in reasonable timing and allows enjoying 3 dives in this unique place. Safety is a priority. The boat is equipped with a Satellite phone, 2 X Oxygen kits, MFA kit, Radio VHF, cell phone, fire extinguishers, and life jackets. General coast-guard safety requirements are among our gear for every expedition. ?Cabo Pulmo? is well known for being the only living coral reef in the Pacific side of Central America. The remote site is a haven for divers who wish to enjoy the sea and have an amazing day of diving away from Los Cabos. Several reefs are available for exploring.The reef attracts schools of rays, turtles, huge gropers, schools of jacks, pork fish, tropical fish, and even a whale shark every once in a while. We will conduct 3 dives to depths of 60-50ft in Cabo Pulmo?s and Los Frailes best dive sites. Travel time is 1:35 ? 1:45 hours each way, depending on conditions.

A brief classroom session starts your scuba education with covering the basic skills required to dive in open water feeling both comfortable and safe. After being fitted with your equipment and a final safety check, you will venture out into the bay for a chance to practice the skills learnt in a shallow area to get a feel for the equipment and breathing underwater. The adventure climaxes when entering the open water to take a dive and marvel at the rich marine environment. with king and Cortez angels, Moorish idols, parrot fish and surgeons. Starfish, sea fans, urchins and small sponges adorning the rocky crannies.

Restrictions: Maximum weight is 260 pounds (117 Kgs). Guests should be in good physical condition, people with cardio-pulmonary disease should not dive, it is generally recommended that a pregnant woman do not dive during the entire pregnancy. You must avoid diving if you are flying or ascending in the next 24 hours. For your own safety no cameras are allowed. Here in Cabo San Lucas, look no further. Your chance to travel through deep submarine canyons just off San Lucas bay and marvel at the rich marine environment on this adventure awaits. Diving locations are located just off the rocky shore and feature large boulders and pinnacles; the rocky walls attract schooling fish such as snapper and goatfish. The ledges are covered with marine invertebrates, starfish, nudibranchs and urchins. Look out for King and Cortez angelfish, Moorish idols and guinea fowl puffers.
Cost: $116.00 per person, minimum age 12 years, must be accompanied by a paying participating adult.
